Right, that's all that we have for you from this contest! Was quite a humdinger as promised! Switch tabs and catch all the live action from the next ECI game that begins at 7pm IST. Until we meet again this is me, Maanas Upadhyay, bidding you adieu!
What a humdinger we have been treated to! After putting up 108 runs on the board, they seemed to be in for a difficult position as Hungary would have felt confident to chase this down. However, what unfurled was quite different. Hungary lost Zeeshan early but the skipper along with Ashrith stitched together a big partnership and lasted until the end of the seventh over, after which Ravindran was retired out for a run-a-ball knock.
The new batters that came in found it pretty difficult to adjust and ended up throwing their wickets away as they looked to keep up with the rate. Despite not losing too many wickets, Hungary find themselves on the wrong side of the result. Perhaps Ashrith deserved more strike. Or perhaps Ravindran could've shown just a bit more urgency in his innings. Nonetheless, it has been a terrific showing with the ball from Czech Republic and they rightly deserve this. All three teams have one win apiece and this sets up nicely for the matches to follow!
