POR dominate Hungary to seal the tie comfortably by 5 wickets, courtesy of some quickfire knocks from Suman Ghimire and Najam Shahzad. After setting themselves up for a target of 108, POR had a dismal start losing three wicket in the first few overs.

It was then the pair of Ghimire and Shahzad who revived the innings and looked unfazed by the inital setback and played their natural game. While Shahzad eventually departed on 29, Ghimire stood his ground to see his team over the finishing line.

HUN made one last attempt of a late comeback when Mueez ul Hassan made a double strike in the seventh over, Ghimire squandered all hopes with his incessant hitting.

Despite having a good start, HUN bowlers failed to capitalize on it. Star bowler Ashrith Darapureddy took a massive beating which accounted for their loss. Mueez ul Hassan was the pick of the bowlers with his double strike in one over.

With the win POR has now established a lead in the points table while HUN will look to forget this loss and start afresh in their next fixture.
