Irfan Pathan (Bhilwara Kings captain and Player of the Match): Was a good game. We didn't bowl well but it was marvellous batting from everyone. Mire and Robin Bisht played beautifully but the game changer I would say the six of Yusuf Pathan. Barnwell batter very well as well. At some pockets, we did very well but many things to improve on. Yeah I enjoyed batting, the pitch was great and the ball was getting wait. It was difficult to grip and they thought the drier ball will help them but it actually came in nicely into the bat. It went into the middle but once I got the momentum against Udana, I knew we are in the game. When Fidel came into bowl, I just wanted to hit three four sixes and luckily it came off. We could have stopped 15-20 runs. I thought 200 would be par but due to the wetness in the ground, I felt we were in the game. I am really happy with my performance but I reiterate that we need to improve on the bowling. I will have a great festival tomorrow. BCCI has done fantastically well. The dew factor hasn't come into the equation. Tomorrow I just hope one thing and India win the World Cup. I wanna feel that spectacle in Ahmedabad. I really hope that the way Indian team has dominated, it continues in that manner.

Gautam Gambhir (India Capitals captain): We always thought it was a par score because of the conditions and the dimensions of the ground but Irfan just took the game away from us. They were always in the game with the power hitters in, Irfan played a spectacular innings. You should have asked Irfan the question because he has been practising more than me (chuckles). We played 38 overs of cricket and these things happen in T20 cricket.

What a match we have witnessed!! After the first innings ended, we all thought India Capitals had the game sealed and in their back-pocket, but for the way Bhilwara Kings calculated and came back, was truly amazing to watch!

It all started with Solomin Mire getting the Bhilwara Kings off to flyer and from there onwards there was a slight dip, but one man came and stole the show....IRFAN PATHAN! Batting with a strike rate of 342.10, he showed absolutely 0 mercy to any bowler who bowled to him!

The calculation and composure he displayed throughout his knock and the way he took the responsibility upon himself after losing Barnwell and Yusuf was a sight to marvel!

With regard to the first innings, Gambhir was on point with a spectacular 60 of just 35 balls, while Kirk Edwards played a very crucial and free flowing 59 in the middle overs, guiding their team to such a magnanimous total, which was chased down with 4 balls to spare!!

Anureet Singh was superb with the ball, both with the newer and older version of it! Isuru Udana, for the capitals, though expensive, struck at crucial intervals, giving his team all the more chances of winning!

Overall, today we witnessed a fabulous game of cricket, permeated by ups and downs and some magnificent cricket all around.

19.2 Ashley Nurse to Irfan Pathan, Bhilwara Kings win by 3 wickets! What an exceptional knock by Irfan Pathan. An unbeaten 65 off just 19 balls to take his side home. Pushes this length delivery a tad outsideoff towards the sweeper cover region for a single.

19.1 Ashley Nurse to Irfan Pathan, FOUR! Just one more needed for the Bhilwara Kings. Irfan comes down the track and hacks away the length delivery around middle, from the inside half of the bat but races away to the deep midwicket fence.

IS IRFAN PATHAN GOING TO PULL OFF ONE OF THE GREATEST HEISTS OF ALL TIME?? One of the most scintillating innings I have ever witnessed! Irrespective of whether they win or not, Irfan Pathan has played one of the all time great innings! That last ball shot from Abdullah....left me speechless!!

What do you name that shot, goes for a yorker, ends up as a full toss outside off and that has been reverse scooped over the third man fence for a maximum. Just 5 more required now off the final over.

18.5 Fidel Edwards to Irfan Pathan, perfect yorker from Edwards, Irfan happy to dig that out towards the on side, with soft hands and takes a single.

18.3 Fidel Edwards to Irfan Pathan, SIX! This is quite extraordinary from Irfan Pathan. Short on his hips and that has been helped on its way and clears the deep backward square leg fence. The captain of Bhilwara Kings is putting on a masterclass here.

18.2 Fidel Edwards to Irfan Pathan, SIX! This is stunning hitting from Irfan Pathan. This is out of the top draw, line was right but the length was wrong. In the slot outside off and Pathan launches that well over the deep extra cover fence for a maximum.

18.1 Fidel Edwards to Iqbal Abdullah, short of a length delivery on the hips of Abdullah, worked away off his hips towards the square leg region and gives the strike back to Irfan.

Irfan Pathan!! You really can't blame Theron! Barring the last ball, he bowled a phenomenal over and concludes a very well crafted spell! He used his canny cutters to his advantage. But the question to be asked now is, will Gambhir take the gamble of bringing the fielders inside the circle to prevent strike rotation? I would do so!
