Shane Watson (captain, Australian Masters): It was a great performance, a very dominant one. We knew about the last two games where we played well but we couldn't get over the line. That was a lot of fun, took me some time to get off the blocks but Ben Dunk and Shaun Marsh started off well. Him (Tendulkar) batting the way he does was great fun. He has got some serious firepower, you need to bowl in other areas to him and the left and right-hand coordination worked. We found a way to turn up tonight and get the job done

Ben Dunk (Player of the Match, Australian Masters): I was saying to Shane, it was great fun. Great to have the tournament rolling and have a win after playing some good cricket. We have been a very relaxed group, the business end of the tournament is coming up and we wanted to be there. It was great fun, that is the thing about this tournament and you reconnect old friendships while enjoying the game

Sachin Tendulkar (India Masters captain): Indeed, actually the way Watson and Dunk batted was magnificent. The wicket played beautifully and there bat swing and hitting was some of the best I have seen. I don't want to take credit way from them. We could have bowled better. Possibly batted first, we expected some more dew but because the dew wasn't there so the wicket got slow. It wasn't in our control. 260 was always going to be an uphill task. I enjoy playing against them. They are a dangerous side and showed today what they are capable of. Whatever happened is behind us now. We will look forward to the Raipur leg and come well prepared.

A huge win for the Australia Masters. They put scores in excess of 200 in the first game but couldn't get wins but now have a win under their belt after posting a total in excess of 250. India Masters had no chance of chasing it and they fell very short of the mark here.

Opening the batting, Sachin Tendulkar and Naman Ojha put together 50 runs for the opening partnership. However, things fell apart for the India Masters with no one apart from Tendulkar being able to score more than 30 runs. Wickets fell in heaps and India Masters suffered a collapse as they slumped to a big defeat and took a dent in their net run rate.

Australia Masters had one player change the game for them. It was Xavier Doherty who picked up a five wicket haul. He was aided by the other bowlers in the line up as well, who chipped in with a wicket each and ensured that the India Masters never got ahead of the humungous required run rate needed by them to chase the total down.
