The second innings was a mere matter of formalities. Finland never really looked like being in it in the first place, and there wasn't an intense effort to try and scale the target down at any stage. Faheem Nellancheri struck a few hefty blows, entertaining us to no end, but the Ireland XI bowlers - the slow ones in particular - were immaculate with their lines and lengths over the course of the innings.
Their fielding backed their bowlers up to no end - the Ireland XI players caught every single chance that came their way! 7 out of the 8 wickets fell to catches - most of them being more than decent ones! Overall, this was a thoroughly professional performance from the Ireland XI, they ensured complete match practice going into the playoffs tomorrow. They sure look a cut above the rest, and seem favourites to qualify from this group.
