Commentary

This match took everyone's breath away and we surely need some time to get out of this. But don't take so long as Spain and Scotland lock horns in the third match of the day.

What a nerve-wrecker this is. Rishton just missed the yorker and Naqvi smokes it over extra cover as Italy win their first match in this ECC tournament. Amir Sharif went into carnage mode early on as he was smashing the bowler's all around the park. Chohan fell prey to his assault as he hammered for 5 maximums in the over.

But still, England pulled things back and had things under control until the 8th over. Russell's penultimate over was charged for three maximums by Naqvi to reduce the equation to 6 from 6 in the last ball. However, Rishton bowled an excellent last over to keep the batters at bay but agonisingly can't win it for his team
