That was some nerve wrecking stuff in the end, but the Romanians have gotten home and they've done it with some balls to spare! They looked like cruising through for the greater part of the game as Taranjit Singh guided the innings once again! He top scored in the match overall and ended up with 41. He was given good company by Satheesan who scored 17 at the top of the order. The rest of the batters didn't have much to do and they didn't get to do much.

The Italian bowlers tried their best to defend the low score but they just didn't have enough on the board. They started off really well as they kept things under check and got a couple of wickets in the middle overs. But towards the end, a couple of expensive overs, in particular by Damith kosala and Sukhwinder Singh meant that they had no way available to make a comeback into the game. Jagmeet was the pick of the bowlers as he ended up with two wickets .
