Saurashtra keep their nerve to win by 9 runs. It looked so good for Kerala when Samson and Sachin Baby were going. The Kerala skipper was in fine touch and reached his fifty. But a couple of tight overs slowed him down and soon he fell which was the turning point of the game. Baby lost his touch a the back end of the innings and the likes of Bazith and Vishnu Vinod couldn't do it against an excellent Unadkat who closed out the game with a superb 19th over. Kerala needed 23 off the last over and it was too much to do for them. So Saurashtra sneak home and Kerala will be ruing the fact that having got so close, they couldn't complete the job.
