The Royals get another victory but it's wasn't as straightforward, unlike yesterday. This contest kept everyone on the edge of their seats until the final ball and Hinds denying a single to the well-set Providence and facing all the deliveries in the last over is a questionable thing

Anil Khan and Providence stitched a decent opening partnership but it wasn't free-flowing in the middle. Bootan's arrival made the tie evenly poised but Providence's struggle to find the boundaries didn't help the team's cause. This could be the reason why he was denied the strike by Hinds.

It was smooth sailing for the Royals until Thomas was belted all around the park by Bootan and eventually he conceded 24 runs. Raymond took the responsibility in the final over and despite Hinds smashing a couple of maximums, the Snorkelers came up short
