Thank you for joining us for this exciting game in the ECS. Although it did turn out to be quite lopsided, we enjoyed thoroughly and hope you did too. Gorkha XI were surely the better side here. Allow us- Mohul Bhowmick and Maanas Upadhyay- to take your leave; until next time, goodbye!
Gorkha XI beat Lisbon Super Giants by 62 runs!
Absar Alam 67 (20) | Ahammad Ullah 4/9 Anthony Chambers 22 (16) | Harpreet Attri 4/33
In the end, this turned out to be a rather lopsided game in favour of Gorkha XI. They were the better side here and deservedly won this game. Harpreet Attri's heroics for the Super Giants came to naught as their batters were found wanting.
The bowlers of Gorkha XI kept the pressure up right from the beginning and forced the batters of the Super Giants to make mistakes time and again. Leg spinner Ahammad Ullah was the star of the show for Gorkha XI, and his team will be extremely proud of the way he dealt with the dangerous Anthony Chambers.
None of the other batters in the Super Giants lineup stood up to Ullah, and allowed him to weave his magic all around them. This result will be extremely demoralising for the Lisbon Super Giants.
