Match summary:
Lisbon Super Giants win by 5 wickets with two balls to spare
If the Werewolves' batting effort wasn't abysmal enough, we saw the Lisbon Super Giants put up a batting display ten times worse than that. While the outfield was slow and the boundaries are longer than usual at the Estádio Municipal de Miranda do Corvo, it took 58 legal deliveries for the Super Giants to get past the line. They had 10 wickets in the back for a large part of the run-chase - a bonus point was there for the taking.
Credit to the Werewolves bowlers as well, though - they stuck to their task of bowling hard lengths and found some movement off the air to deter the batters. The standard of fielding went up as the innings progressed - while the odd catch was going down earlier, the Werewolves latched on to most chances later on. With 10 to get off the last over, Gagandeep might have backed himself to defend this, but Suryawanshi saved the day for LSG instead.
9.4 Gaganpreet Singh to Nilesh Suryawanshi, SIX!!! Fuller ball and Nilesh goes for a big hit down the ground. The man at long off stretches an arm out and gets a hand to it. But he cannot close the fingers down on it. Instead he ends up parrying the ball over the ropes. He was infact, standing a couple of feet inside. Had he been back on the fence. It would have been gone. But instead, the Lisbon Super Giants have won the match with that.
9.3 Gaganpreet Singh to Nikhil Chand, hit to point. They scamper one. 5 to win off 3 balls.
9.2 Gaganpreet Singh to Nilesh Suryawanshi, looks to flick it and ends up closing the face too early. The ball flies off a leading edge to point. They run one.
9.1 Gaganpreet Singh to Nilesh Suryawanshi, MISSES THE YORKER!!! The batter flicks it to midwicket who fumbles. They run two on the misfield and the bowler fails to collect the throw. Misses an obvious run out.
9.1 Gaganpreet Singh to Nilesh Suryawanshi, SHORT BALL! It is an overhead wide. 9 runs to win off 6 balls.
Gaganpreet Singh (1-0-5-0) is back into the attack
Yup, the Super Giants have made a meal of a routine run-chase. They've taken it to the last over - 10 to get with five wickets remaining.

8.1 Muhammad Tabish to Amandeep Singh, MISCUED AND GONE!!! Length ball around the 4th stump. Amandeep was looking to hit on the leg side. He gets the top edge. The man at third dives forward to take a stunner.
Amandeep Singh c Amritpal Singh Jr b Muhammad Tabish 20 (26b 1x4 1x6)
At last! At long last, we've seen one disappear over the boundary. Given the flow of proceedings, you'd think that was never a possibility. 13 needed at just over a run-a-ball. Two big hits will do it, but given the course of events so far in the game, this is going down to the wire, isn't it?
