MAL won by 63 runs FRD - 89/5 (10 overs) Ashraful Rupu - 34(17) | Md Nazrul Islam - 19(9) Asim Sarwar - 2/13 | Adnan Gondal - 1/9
An overall display by MAL to dominate both with the bat and ball to outclass FRD by a big-margin of 63 runs and seal the match with comfortable ease.
After setting a towering target of 153 runs, the MAL bowlers delivered the goods with some economical bowling display to restrict FRD from ever getting on top of the run-chase.
After losing opener Mohammad Asaduzzaman, Ashraful Rupu took over the reins and propelled FRD's cause partnered with Md Nazrul Islam on the other end. The duo managed to script a partnership of 31 runs to keep their chances alive in the contest.
However, after losing both the set batters, FRD never failed to get going as the required run-rate kept climbing and in the end it was a little too much left.
For MAL, Asim Sarwar got two scalps under his belt while Adnan Gndal, Syed Masim and Amandeep Singh earned one wicket apiece.
With the win, MAL maintain their unbeaten streak and remains at the top of the points table with 4 points from two games while FRD sink to the bottom below OEI, owing to inferior run-rate.

Assad Mehmood leaks 12 runs as FRD welcomes the change in fortunes after losing a wicket in the previous over. They will need to ensure not to give away wickets cheaply and keep the floodgates open, given the towering target they have to chase down.

INNINGS BREAK MAL - 152/5 (10 overs) Zafar Ali - 51(17) | Amir Zaib - 43(14) Imtiaz Rana - 2/18 | Riasat Sourav - 2/31
It has been an absolute batting masterclass from MAL to dominate the proceedings so far in the match. After losing openers Zulfiqar Shah and Amandeep Singh cheaply, MAL looked in duress but Syed Maisam and Amir Zaib took on the mantle and steadied the innings, building a partnership of 56 runs.
Zafar Ali then continued the momentum with a quickfire half-century to propel MAL to a towering target.
For FRD, Imitaz Rana and Riasat Sourav were the highlight in an otherwise disappointing attack and returned with two wickets each.
Don't go anywhere. We will return with the run-chase shortly....
