Commentary

This has been Bidipto and myself (Rishab) bringing you the first semi-final then. It has indeed been a thrilling game and we are sure of more exciting action coming your way. So do stay tuned for all of it and have a great weekend folks!

Well, this has been a sensational semi-final, living up to the expectations of such a game. Marsta had the runs on the board and they did well to take this game right down the wire. They were unfortunate though and should take heart from how they have bowled in this game. They started well and built that pressure on the batters. Perhaps the Arslan over, with all those no-balls, costing them eventually looking back at it.

Botykrka did not have the ideal start but they came back well with some key contributions from their middle order to see them through off the very final delivery. It did get nervy and they will feel that they could have finished the game earlier. Nonetheless, a win is all that matters here and they are the first team through to the finals now. They bowled well and their batters repaid the faith then to see them through.

Marsta will now have to play the bronze final. They will be disappointed but still have an opportunity to finish on a positive note. Positives on the bowling front for them but they will have to put up a better effort with the ball. Right then, this game has set the tone for the finals day and we can expect more of such thrilling contests as we eventually find put who the champion will be at the end of the day!

Oh dear! Misfield at the most crucial time and Botykrka have won this game off the very last delivery. What a thrilling contest this has been and they are in the final now. Marsta did very well to take this game till the very end. What a fight and a brilliant game in the end!
