Commentary

The Scorchers had things under control until last week but losing a thriller to the Sixers, followed by yesterday's defeat to the Stars didn't help the team's cause. Weather too played a part in their exit as the outcome could've been different if we get to witness the full match in this encounter.

Rain is falling down again but that doesn't matter as the defending champions are out of the tournament. Kershaw rose to the occasion from nowhere as her cameo proved pivotal for the Renegades to cross the finishing line, after the team suffered an early blow

This pitch was difficult to bat for everyone, except for Kershaw as we witnessed some clean strikes from the left-hander. Lilly Mills put the Renegades under the pump by getting rid of Matthews and Athapaththu in her first over and the team were reeling at 15-4, but Kershaw took matters into her own hands and delivered for the team.
