Pak I Care Badalona, to whom this total would never have proved challenging, chased it down with plenty to spare. They did not lose too many wickets in the process either, and this will give them a big boost of confidence going into the second match against the same opponents in a few minutes from now.

Montcada Royal tried their best, but were laid bare by the fact that their star all rounder Hamza Saleem Dar, did not put up too good a performance with either bat or ball. He was expected to bowl well with the new ball, which he did, but his skipper would have done well to stick with him and bowl him out.

When he did come back in the seventh over, the game was already away from the grasps of his side, and PIC needed just 23 runs. For PIC, the innings that Muhammad Ihsan played was extraordinary, and special mention to him and his fortitude. Montcada Royal will learn a lot from this game, and hopefully, implement them in the second game just coming up!
