That is that then. MSC Frankfurt have successfully managed to defend their total in the end. Malta started decently in the powerplay without losing wickets but Frankfurt never let them get away so to say. It was that spell from Daud where he picked three big wickets that really gave them the control in the game and build pressure on the batters.

A good all-round bowling effort as they did not allow Malta to accelerate when they needed to in the chase. They were good in the field as well and they will be happy with this performance with the ball. The cushion of some extra runs towards the end of their batting innings did prove to be crucial as they conceded five penalty runs for crossing the time, which could have gone against them in another game and they will have to be careful of the same.

Malta will be disappointed with this result. Once they lost quick wickets they really couldn't get themselves going. They were unable to get in partnerships or big overs and they will have some thinking to do as far as their batting ins concerned in the games to come!

Five penalty runs added at the start of the over but Malta have still not been able to get over courtesy some brilliant death bowling from Waseem Ahmed. He has done well to hold his nerves and Frankfurt have successfully defended their total to win by 11 runs in the end!
