Msida Warriors beat Mater Dei by 10 runs!

Despite putting up such a low total on the board, the Msida Warriors showcased to the world that decent bowling can almost always win you the day. They did not give too many freebies to the batters of Mater Dei and took most of the chances that came their way.

Mater Dei were in the game for a long time but got distracted by the offerings made by the bowlers of the Warriors. Samuel Stanislaus and Vengala Sandeep tried their best to take their team into the next round of the elimination stage but somehow it just did not come off.

The likes of skipper Shijil Joy and Sajith Sukumaran put up excellent performances with the ball in hand for the Warriors. The latter were the deserving winners today, although Mater Dei did put up a decent showing, and should have got more rewards for the efforts they put in.
