That's all from us then! This is Soumarya Dutta signing off on behalf of my partner Mohul Bhowmick! See you soon.
Msida Warriors 80/8 in 10 overs Ajin Soman 33(15) | Ishantha Kariyawasam 3/7 Shijil Joy 13(10) | Zeeshan Yousaf 2/9
Right so the Southern Crusaders have romped home to a comfortable 17 run victory here! There was some late drama in the end as Ajin Soman made things interesting with 26 runs of the 9th over but in the end it was a little too late for the batting side! The Warriors struggled with the bat throughout as they hardly got any momentum going in their favor. They kept loosing wickets at regular intervals and it kept the pressure on them. The lack of intent hurt their cause big time too.
The Southern Crusaders bowlers did an excellent job defending the total as they hunted together in packs and displayed some excellent partnership bowling. They got rid of the dangerous Shijil Joy early in the innings and that opened the doors for the further fall of wickets and a collapse for the Msida team. Ishantha Kariyawasam was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 3 wickets in an over and broke the back bone of the Msida middle order. Zeeshan Yousaf was great at the death too as he finished off the job with two wickets.
A great win for the Crusaders and they will be really happy with this, especially given that they had lost to Msida on the golden ball in the first half. They put on an improved show with the bat and it will give them a lot of confidence going forward in the tournament.

9.3 Zeshan Yousaf to Bristo Baby, BOWLED HIM! Fulltoss on off and middle. Baby misses the line of the ball completely and is bowled! He is disappointed with himself but God knows how he missed that fulltoss. Zeshan Yousaf is on a hattrick now!
Bristo Baby b Zeeshan Yousaf 0(1b 0x4 0x6)
Bristo Baby, RHB, comes to the crease.
9.2 Zeshan Yousaf to Ajin Soman, BOWLED HIM! Yorker on off and middle. Soman misreads the length, tries to go for another hoick and is comprehensively beaten! Soman has to depart after a whirlwind knock. Surely no way back for the Warriors now.
Ajin Soman b Zeeshan Yousaf 33(15b 0x4 5x6)
9.1 Zeshan Yousaf to Manuel Antony, fullish outside off. Antony smacks it back over the bowler's head for a single/
Zeeshan Yousaf [1.0-0-5-0] comes back into the attack.
Well well! Ajin Soman has got himself going at last and he has done it with four back to back maximums! The Warriors still need 22 of the last over and seems like it's still not over yet!
