Manan Bashir made sure that chasing this total set by Trakia was a breeze for Sofia. He played a blistering knock and ensured that the bowlers of Trakia were taken for an absolute ride. All the mistakes made by the bowlers of Trakia were punished and Bashir was the lone star for Sofia when it came to this.

He was helped thoroughly by Mubarak Ali who came in at number three but he departed soon after. It was an interesting innings because Trakia tried to introduce spin into the attack to take pace off the ball and go about their overs quickly. Although it was much appreciated by the supporters at the ground, it did not make a substantial difference to the way Sofia chased the total down.

Dave Patel, with his gentle off breaks, was of course successful as he bagged the wicket of opener Isa Zaroo. After Mubarak Ali's dismissal, Bashir was assisted by Firas Hussain in knocking the rest of the runs over. It seemed to be a fairly easy chase for Sofia.
