Commentary

NICOSIA FIGHTERS WIN BY 9 WICKETS!
What a sensational match we've had here! The Fighters have chased down 148 with 9 wickets in hand and 3 balls to spare! It was runs galore for the last couple of hours here as the teams combined to score 295 runs for the loss of only 3 wickets, one of which coming on the last ball of the first innings.

The second innings was all about Abdullah Al Tasmin and his supporting star Kamrul Mahmud! Al Tasmin was playing in his own league during his knock of 93 runs off just 32 balls at a strike rate of 290.62. He struck 5 fours and 10 mammoth sixes during the run-chase. To his support was Mahmud who was anchoring the innings with a 34-run knock off 23 balls that included 4 sixes.

When Al Tasmin fell in the closing stages of the game and it looked like the game will go right down to the last ball, Parvez Miah turned up and struck two biggies in the final over to seal the match with 3 balls to spare! The Haidree Lions will be devastated after that batting effort that had almost won the match for them, but their bowling was less than ordinary to say the least.

Al Tasmin made one mistake when he got out bowled to Syed Tanveer while the other bowlers have nothing to show with their bowling figures!
