Cossonay CC 107/8 in 10 overs Jai Sinh 30(18) | Shakteeshwar Sivakaran 2/14 Aidan Andrews 21(9) | Diyon Johnson 2/12
Right so, the Olten CC have made a superb comeback here and they've pulled this game out of nowhere. The Cossonay were going really strong at the end of the powerplay as they had gone past 50 but they lost their way from there onwards with regular fall of wickets and lack of partnerships.
It was only the opening batters Jai Sinh and Aidan Andrews who scored something of substance as the rest of the batting order cut a sorry figure in the run chase. There was a brief partnership between Amol Prabhu and Ashwin Vinod but they couldn't accelerate in time leading to the run rate slipping out of their grasp.
The Olten bowlers took some real pounding early on but they came back really well as they ran through the Cossonay middle order. Sivakaran, Johnson and Murali all picked up two wickets each and kept things really tidy from the fourth over onwards. The batting side could only muster a meagre 55 runs in the final 7 overs and they fell well short of the target in the end.

Muralitharan Gnansekaram
2/12
9.6 Muralitharan Gnanasekaram to Thileepan Rasalingam, FOUR! This was full and on leg stump, Rasalingam went for a big hoick - of course he would have - got a thick inside edge, and the ball rolled away to the ropes at fine leg! Olten, though, will take this game by a convincing margin of 22 runs!
Thileepan Rasalingam, RHB, comes to the crease
9.5 Muralitharan Gnanasekaram to Tahirkhan Ahmadzai, OUT! Knocks him over! This was a full delivery on off stump, Ahmadzai went for an adventurous scoop, made no contact, and went on to see his stumps being splattered!
9.4 Muralitharan Gnanasekaram to Ashwin Vinod, dropped! Full and straight, skied towards deep square, the man out there ran in, but put it down! Just one
9.3 Muralitharan Gnanasekaram to Tahirkhan Ahmadzai, full outside leg stump, Ahmadzai squeezed it through his legs, just a single as the ball rolled towards fine leg
Tahirkhan Ahamadzai, RHB, comes to the crease
9.2 Muralitharan Gnanasekaram to Venu Agarwal, OUT! Four catches for Naim Stanikzai! This was full outside off stump, Venu looked to heave it towards the leg side, ended up miscuing it towards long off, Naim ran in, settled under it, and despite a slight intervention from the incoming fielder at cover, pouched it without fuss!
Venu Agarwal c Naim Stanikzai b Muralitharan Gnanasekaram 8(4b, 0x4, 1x6)
9.1 Muralitharan Gnanasekaram to Venu Agarwal, SIX! On a length outside off, but Venu lined this one up really well, and clobbered the ball just over the ropes at mid wicket!
Excellent this time from the other Stanikzai and the Cossonay CC are all but out of this game now as they need an improbable 35 runs from the final over. Only a miracle can win the game from here on.

8.6 Raihan Stanikzai to Venu Agarwal, hard length delivery, pulled away towards deep square leg, just a single
8.5 Raihan Stanikzai to Ashwin Vinod, full and wide outside off, carved towards point, just a single
8.4 Raihan Stanikzai to Venu Agarwal, dropped! Too casual! This was dug in on a length outside off, Venu looked to pull, ended up miscuing it towards mid on, the fielder ran in, took it too easily, and ended up spilling a regulation chance!
Venu Agarwal, RHB, comes to the crease
8.3 Raihan Stanikzai to Bharath Narayanan, OUT! The short one does it for Raihan Stanikzai! This was dug in outside off, Bharath looked to go for the pull, was a bit late on it, the ball took the top-edge, flew up towards square leg, the keeper got under it, and pouched it without fuss!
Bharath Narayan c Shahid Waridu b Raihan Stanikzai 8(3b, 2x4, 0x6)
8.2 Raihan Stanikzai to Bharath Narayanan, FOUR MORE! This was low full toss, possibly past the tramline, Bharath got some bat on it, squeezed it past the gap at deep point, and found the boundary!
8.1 Raihan Stanikzai to Bharath Narayanan, FOUR! Full outside off, Bharath moved towards the ball and heaved this one down the ground towards a straight-ish long off region, and beat the man in the deep!
