Right so, that was a fantastic win for the Overseas. Batting first, they managed to put on 104/6 on the board on the back of Heinrich Gericke's destructive batting and some late flourish by Lourens. However they were on top with the ball, right from the beginning. United kept loosing wickets at regular intervals and their innings never got going. In the end the margin was only 15 runs, courtesy a big last over but United were never in the game. Gericke was the real star for Overseas with both ball and bat and they will hope that he continues his form in the coming matches. It's a victory that Overseas will cherish and although they were not at their best today, they can be a pretty tough team to beat if they get their act together in all the departments.
