Commentary

Another close game for Pak I Care and they have managed to get through once again. What a thrilling contest this has been once again. Low scoring thriller so to say and Pak I Care pull it off eventually. Commendable effort from Tunbridge Wells to take this down to the final delivery though!

4.6 Dave Smith to Muhammad Ihsan, HAS HE MADE IT? Or is it a run out? It has been sent upstairs! Length delivery angling into the stumps, Ihsan has a heave across the line but fails to connect. The ball rolls off his thigh pad towards point and the batters do what they have to and run for their lives. The keeper disloges the bails but has Hanif made his ground?

WOW! Replays show that he doesn't slide his bat in - rather, he lands his foot as well as his bat just in the nick of time with the bails dislodged. The ball may not have been cleanly collected either but either ways, it doesn't matter. PAK I CARE SCRAPE THROUGH! By the barest of margins! Wow! What a game!

4.5 Dave Smith to Sikandar Ali, RUN OUT! MORE DRAMA! Another short one angling into the stumps, Sikandar walks across aiming to pull it fine but fails to get bat on ball. Ihsan takes off though and the throw comes to the bowler who then turns around and fires an underarm throw at his end to catch Sikandar almost halfway short of his ground. Fingernails left?

4.5 Dave Smith to Sikandar Ali, CALLED WIDE! The bowler can't believe it! Dug short and angled into the stumps, Sikandar gets inside the line of it and attempts a pull over fine leg. He misses, although the replays show that it's a real tight call. Just fizzing past the helmet there but the scores are level!

4.4 Dave Smith to Sikandar Ali, short of a length delivery with width on offer, Sikandar smartly dabs it down to third man and taps the strike over to his partner.

4.3 Dave Smith to Sikandar Ali, SUPERB STOP! Brilliance in the deep! Short outside off, Sikandar stands tall and fetches a pull across the line as he clubs it powerfully. He picks the gap, only for deep mid-wicket to put in a fantastic dive to his left and parry it inside the ropes to save a couple of runs for his side.

4.2 Dave Smith to Sikandar Ali, SWING AND A MISS! A dot ball as well - length delivery outside off, a hint of late inward shape as Sikandar stays low to launch it across the line but ends up cut in half.

4.1 Dave Smith to Shehroz Ahmed, OUT! CAUGHT! Is there a twist in the tale? Dug short and just outside off, Shehroz plants his front foot forward and gets a top-edge on his almighty hack across the line. The ball flies down to deep fine leg who settles and makes no mistake to send the skipper back into the hut.

This had to be the moving over and Muhammad Ihsan has done a fabulous job for his side under pressure. This is terrific striking and McLean has been poor here. That should be the over that seals this game for Pak I Care. As good as done unless there is some drama in the final over now. Just 5 more needed!
