17:39 IST|| MATCH SUMMARY || Perth Scorchers Women won by 28 runs.
Beth Mooney 77(52) Laura Harris 40(21) Sophie Devine 25(22) Nicola Hancock 4-0-23-3 Alana King 4-0-16-5 Nadine de Klerk 4-0-31-2
Team Brisbane Heat won the toss today and decided to have a bowl. But this decision from their skipper Jonassen turned out to be the wrong one. The surface here at W.A.C.A has the most wins in favor of the team batting first and that will be the same tonight also. Nicola Hancock delivered a mind-blowing spell in the first innings by grabbing 3 wickets. Apart from this De Klerk also contributed to her by taking off 2. In teh chase, Laura Harris stood tall as an alone wolf for some time in the middle and scored 40 runs, but she wasn't able to carry it for so long and ended up throwing her wicket in search of a huge shot.
For the Perth Scorchers, everything seemed to be moving in their way except for the toss. First Beth Mooney outclassed everyone in the batting and scored 77 valuable runs, later Alana King got her first 5 wicket hall. Ebony Hoskin's 2 wickets contribution also cannot be forgotten.
With all this Perth Scorchers Women clinched their 3rd win of this season.
