Mohammad Rizwan (captain, Multan Sultans): I am lost for words. I am extremely proud of the boys. Our coaches told us to maximise whenever we get big overs on our hands. We did that today, and fortunately everything came off. Rilee and Pollard did extremely well today and I am very happy. We play another match tomorrow, and will try our best to win that as well.

Rilee Rossouw (Player of the Match): You've got to go from ball one when you're chasing such a big score. Luckily, everything came off for me today. This was one of the best knocks I have ever played in a T20 game. It is very special as it came during a run chase. The pitch was good today, I have enjoyed it trememndously.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore (stand-in captain, Peshawar Zalmi): We saw in the last game how Jason Roy scored an unbelievable ton. Rilee's knock was equally good tonight. A lot of work needs to be done, but when such things happen, we need to tip off our hats to them and say well done. The par score on this ground is 200. The way Rilee came out today, he put us under pressure. We can still qualify. As long as we do, we then have three more games and then we can win the trophy

Anwar Ali: There was a belief in the team. The wicket was playing true and we knew that 240 has been chased down before and we too can too it. Rilee is a fabulous batter. We respect him. The form that he is in, he and Pollard helped up win this game. As a team, we did well to qualify. Tomorrow is a new day and we will be focusing on winning the match

What a game of cricket we have just witnessed! In the span of a few days, we have seen two 240-plus targets being chased down in the Pakistan Super League. There is no denying that the surface here in Rawalpindi was a real belter, but scoring at 12 runs per over was no joke.

However, Multan Sultans made it look that way! A magnificent win for the Sultans, and they are overjoyed in their dressing room. Spare a thought for Peshawar Zalmi, who felt that they had enough runs on the board, but were outfoxed twice in a row. First, they felt the pinch against Quetta Gladiators earlier in the week, and were now taken to the sword by Multan.

Rilee Rossouw was the star with the bat for the Sultans, and he got able support from the likes of Kieron Pollard, Anwar Ali and Khushdil Shah. However, it was the South African alone who set up the chase for his side. The target was so ridiculous that Multan had to go for it from ball one, and this kind of a 'no fear' attitude paid off for them in the long run. This sort of a surface is unkind to the bowlers, and one cannot help but feel sorry for them.

Three bowlers of the Zalmi went for more than 15 runs per over, and that will sting them for sure. They need to go back to the drawing board and make sure that they take a breather and come back into their next game with a clear head. It is surely not easy to lose two consecutive games despite having put up more than 240 runs on the board.

A target of over 240 chased down for the second time in three days, and both conceded by the Peshawar Zalmi! Spare a thought for Babar Azam's men. Absolute scenes at the Multan dugout, as they fist pump and pat each other on the back! What a game of cricket we have had here.

We thought it was madness personified when Quetta Gladiators chased down 240 and set a record for chasing the highest total in the league. Today, it is broken in a span of just 3 days. It was a length delivery, Usama just scoops that one over fine leg and the ball bounces and goes over the ropes for a four. Multan Sultans win by 4 wickets
