What we all expected to pan out, did happen- which was Portugal triumphing over Romania, like they did yesterday, but it wasn't as simple, with the Romanian bowlers putting on a good fight with the ball!

In all fairness, there was absolutely no contribution from the top and even to some extent the middle order from Portugal's point of view, but the way Najam Shahzad counter attacked and stole the game from them in the span of just 2 overs, shows how destructive a better he can be!

Shahzad, who played some shots of the greatest caliber, took Janitha Fernando, who had been exceptionally good over the past two games, to task. It appears it backfired badly for Romania, as he had held crucial to their prospects of winning.

Overall, it was a good game of cricket permeated by ups and downs in both halves of the game and the better team took the label of victory along with them, which was Portugal today!

7.2 Mahesh Prasanna to Najam Shahzad, SIX! Game, set and match! Too short outside the off stump and Shahzad picks the bones out of it as he rocks back to club a pull over mid-wicket.
