When Sudesh Wickramasekara was having a good day with the ball, then Prague CC comes out on top on at least 9/10 occasions. In this crunch semi-final, Sudesh stepped up and caused the early damage to put United CC in a spot of bother straightaway. He got rid of the in-form Piyushsingh Baghel in the very first delivery before getting the better of Pramod Bagauly in the third ball.

Sudesh started with a double-wicket maiden and dismissed Abhimanyu Singh in his second over to finish the incredible spell at 2-1-1-3. United CC didn't recover from the early setback and this semi-final became more of a formality. Ayush Kumar and Ghanshyam Kumar's contribution in the middle helped United CC to only reduce the deficit of the defeat.
