Punjab CC were always up against a tall ask, and the fact that they couldn't hit their straps straight away didn't help their cause. While Rao Imran found the boundary twice in the first over, Parveen Singh was unable to get going at the other end. The pressure of that got to Rao, who departed caught behind soon after.

The arrival of Adnan Ali to the centre, though, gave Punjab CC Amadora a ray of hope. Adnan took 26 off the 4th over, turning the tide around momentarily. Gorkha 11 went on to pull things back in the following couple of overs, troubling Parveen to no end before Fakhrul Hussain got him out eventually. Adnan continued to swing, he connected fruitfully on another couple of occasions before holing out. Umar Muhammad, too, piqued interest, clearing the ropes twice having walked in, but he, too departed soon after.

Muzamal Abbas and Usama Zahid brought it down to 20 off the final over. Abbas started off the over brilliantly, clearing the ropes and piling the pressure back on Gorkha 11 and Fakhrul Hussain, the bowler, but the left armer knocked Abbas's stumps over two balls later. A couple of kamikaze run outs ensued off the next couple of deliveries, which helped Gorkha 11 seal the game.
