Royal Brussels tried, tried and tried their level best to make up for the shoddy exhibition with the bat to give themselves a ray of hope in the tournament. At one stage, it looked like they were in with a chance, as they kept picking up wickets at regular intervals. Haroon Sarkani tried to arrest the collapse at the start, and once he did so, it seemed like Liege were out of danger. But once Sarkani fell, Liege were in danger once again. Adam Herrington and Sarim Choudhry then went on to reduce them to 45 for 7, but then Danish Aziz survived the over from Herrington, and then Javed Oryakhial smashed his namesake Noor for 10 off 2, following it up with a six off the final ball, to get them to the brink. Danish Aziz then pulled his way to give Liege a victory, knocking the Royal Brussels out of the competition in the process!
