Commentary

Right then, a disappointing end for Roma Capannelle as they end up losing the second game as well and take nothing away from day one here. They seemed to be well in the chase at the half-way mark but completely lost their way in the second half of the chase. It was a promising start but they failed to carry forward and eventually fell well short in the end.

Royal Roma were under pressure at one stage but this has been a commendable effort from them to pull things back and how! They got in those tight overs at the right times, built pressure, picked up wickets and ensured there was no way back for Capannelle in the chase. A special moment in the game as well when Gagandeep picked up a hat-trick in the final over to put the icing on the cake for Royal Roma in yet another convincing win.

They take four points from the opening day and will be confident going forward into the games to come. Roma Capannelle dropped catches which cost them yet again and they have a lot of things to look upon and improve if they have to make a comeback to register their first win after two straight defeats.
