The thing to check was whether MU Plovdiv could keep fighting hard till the end and make things a little more interesting. But, that was far from real as they could not get to even 90 runs!

The fielding from Sofia Spartans was suspect at times due to the conditions, but on the whole, the entire effort in in the field and with the ball were commendable.

Truth be told, the gap in quality between the sides was a bit too much. And that, too, in both the bowling and batting departments!
