What an outstanding win here for ST Gallen to finish off the day. They've thoroughly outplayed the Cossonay CC who have been defeated for the second successive game of the day. They failed miserably in their chase of 131 and ended up 47 runs short in the end.
They didn't really have a great start to the chase as they kept loosing wickets throughout. Jai Sinh's quick cameo at the top gave them some momentum but the regular loss of wickets meant that they were out of the game by the time it was the halfway stage of the innings. Towards the fag end , it was Crichton who chipped in with a good knock of 20 to save the blushes but it was never going to be enough in a chase like this
The St Gallen bowlers were superb throughout as they kept getting scalps at crucial stages of the game throughout the course of the day. Hekmat and Haroon were pick of the bowlers as they picked up two wickets apiece. Musa Ahmadzai and Sher Muhammad were also quite good towards the back end of the innings.
