A superb, collective display of bowling from the Geneva attack helps them coast to a convincing win over St. Gallen CC. St. Gallen CC were in with a good chance at the target, with momentum under their wings at the halfway mark and a power-packed batting line-up. However, they lost far too many wickets throughout, and it proved to be too much for their lower-order.

Hekmat Khogiyani looked to go all guns blazing, but had his stumps rattled 5 balls in. His opening partner, Sher Muhammad got in on the act from the following over, smashing a few off the meat of the bat, but, much like Khogiyani, his innings was short-lived as well. Having lost three wickets in the powerplay itself, St. Gallen were on the back foot rather early.

The script was the same as we progressed through the middle overs. The Geneva bowlers kept the lid on the batters throughout the chase, not allowing them to go big even once. Musa Ahmadzai sparked a bit of excitement having walked in at 7, but his cross-handed antics was never going to be enough. Geneva closed the game out with plenty to spare in the end.
