The Sweiqi United have pulled off a thrilling win here and they've done it some style! They scratched around for the major part of the innings and almost got themselves into a precarious position with 31 needed of 12 balls. However Vibhor Yadav and Waqar Afridi stepped up to the party and ensured that they got there comfortably in the end. The innings in all was mainly about the two overs of Jais Mathew where they got 45 runs. Imran Ameer finished things off in style in the end as he smashed Chamkaur Singh for a six to win the game.
The Strikers bowlers tried really hard to make a match out of it as they kept things quite for the major part of the innings. However they failed to get wickets and it cost them big time in the end. The strategy to give the penultimate over to Jais Mathew was also questionable and left quite a few heads scratching. Skipper Priyan and Anil were the pick of the bowlers as they gave away just 16 runs between themselves in their 4 overs.
Overall, the Sweiqi United will be really happy as they have put on another clinical performance and they now have two wins from two games today. The Royal Strikers did better in this game with the bat and they were in it till the penultimate over. However the inability to capitalize on key moments cost them in the end.
