Tallinn Stallions beat Tallinn Strikers by 9 wickets!
As was expected, the batters of Tallinn Stallions ensured that there were no hiccups whatsoever while chasing this modest target of 73 against Tallinn Strikers.
The latter will rue the fact that despite playing so well throughout the tournament, they fell extremely short of the standards required of them in this game.
Their batters let them down big time, and there was precious little for their bowlers to do when asked to defend such a lowly total. The batters of Tallinn Stallions were on top of this game in this game.
Despite Rifaq Khan getting out, they coasted comfortably to the target and won this game with nine wickets in hand. They will rightfully be crowned the champions of ECS Estonia!
5.1 Shayan Khan to Ram Krishan, FIVE WIDES! TALLINN STALLIONS ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF ECS ESTONIA 2024! Bit of an anti-climatic but Stallions won't mind as they have stunned the favourites Strikers to take the sweet revenge and clinch the title for this season. Full but sprays it well down the leg-side, runs away to fine-leg ropes for five wides.
Just two runs needed for Stallions to win this game! The bowlers of the Strikers had very little to do in this chase and they could not quite contain their opponents.
