They took us down the wire and denied us the "hurray" finish, didn't they? Both teams were pretty good with the bat. However, it is the bowling and the fielding which let them both down...
Having conceded 150+, Tallinn Super Riders knew that they had to get a good start. Their openers couldn't quite achieve what Ali Raza and Muhammad Usman Sr did for the Wolves, but they laid the platform. Rashedul Islam in particular was spectacular. He hit the ball clean and far on most occasions and cracked up a 14-ball half century.
Anand Chandrappa then took over and scored a fine 40-odd. However, the Wolves were able to pull things back at the fag end. The turning point was Asif Sattar's good penultimate over, where he conceded only 6 and picked up the wicket of Hardik Prajapati.
Albeit, the Super Riders could have still won it. Jazib Sawar's indiscipline handed them with a palpable opportunity. Though, Chandrappa could not hit the last ball for six.
