What an unbelievable game of cricket here and the Europe side have clinched it by the barest of the margins! British and Irish Knights fought hard till the end but it was a bridge too far for them. Harrison Ward will remain stranded on 98 in the end and the Knights fall short by just 6 runs in the end in what has been a high scoring thriller here at Cartaxo.

The Knights got off to a great start in the powerplay as Jenner went all guns blazing and was aided by a few misfields. They lost their way a bit in the middle overs as they lost a couple of wickets but the partnership between Ward and Lincoln ensured that they were always in the game. Lincoln played his part as a skipper as he smashed 31 runs from 12 balls but it wasn't enough in the end.

Khalid Ahmadi was the pick of the bowlers for Team Europe as he picked up a couple of wickets and gave away just 11 runs in this run fest. Shahid Afridi also deserves some applause as he held his nerve in the end. The likes of Saqib Zulfiqar and Clayton Floyd, the two International players, had an off day as they travelled the distance.
