There was an onslaught - but it came along really, really late for Team Europe. Muhammad Ihsan absolutely tore into the BIK spinners in those middle overs - the ball kept travelling over the leg side boundary on umpteen occasions. Thanks to Ihsan, Team Europe were able to put up a fight, but they had far too many runs to gun down.

The British and Irish Knights bowlers took it a touch easier towards the latter part of the innings, having done their bit of clogging the scoring rate in the powerplay and then a couple of overs. While 20 came off the first over of the innings, the likes of Oliver Riley and Julius Sumerauer proceeded to land a lid on the Team Europe top-order, and succeeded. Ihsan's efforts went in vain in the end, and BIK will lay claim on that shield now.
