Friends XI could change their team name to "Vikas and Friends" for now. Such was the impact of Vikas Kumar in this game. He delivered with both bat and ball. The first innings was lit up by his imperious knock of 75 in just 29 balls. Whereas, in the second innings, he chipped in with important breakthroughs at important intervals.

Although, they say no matter what you achieve, there was someone who helped you along the way. One of the most crucial supporting acts around Vikas' swashbuckling show was Sarabjit Singh. He scored a handy 27 with the bat and then contributed by picking up 2 wickets too.

In the end, it is a comprehensive win for Friends XI. Trentino Aquila will have to go back to the drawing board and possibly reconsider some of their tactics. They do seem like a team that has the talent but unfortunately, the roles assigned to each player don't seem to be correct. Hopefully, they will come back stronger next year.
