Some wholesome comments from Raina and we'll let that be the end of our coverage. Thank you for sticking with us, folks! This is Rudransh and Arya signing off for Sportskeeda.
Suresh Raina (Urbanrisers Hyderabad captain): If you come to MS Dhoni's den, everyone wants to bowl from MS Dhoni's end! I had to tell them to bowl from Amitabh sir's end too. But we executed our plans well, bowled a lot of slower ones. I have played for CSK for a long time. Now it feels like my heart's yellow too. I wanted to not let the bowlers settle at all. Stuart bowled a lot of slower ones, Pragyan got Ross out. Just our first game in Ranchi, hopefully we'll get better with the bat too.
Ross Taylor (Southern Super Stars captain): Yeah, I think probably our line up would have changed a bit. Hyderabad bowled just one over of spin. There were a few mistakes from our part as well. We were getting a partnership together but couldn't hold on for a bit longer. The way the bowlers came out was brilliant. Our fielding was exceptional. Today morning, Aaron Finch was the captain and now he is on the flight. We have lost the game today but certainly a long way to go
Pawan Suyal (Player of the Match): Yes I am very happy with my performance. Our main plan was to keep the ball in the same place as it had uneven bounce from there. In cricket, you have to face challenges. Everyone one here is a legend. Our plan was to keep wicket to wicket and lucky the wickets kept coming. We had a same plan.
Binny, after struggling for the entire innings, brings out his absolute best in this last over! Urbanrisers Hyderabad defend the lowest total in the competition's history, what a stunning team effort!
End of the innings! Superstars have been bowled out for 143. Urbanrisers win by 13 runs
This has been a brilliant bowling display from the Urbanrisers. Superb, all-round effort where everyone stepped up, everyone did their job well to do something that has never been done before in this competition! At the start of the innings, they would have felt they were at least 20-30 runs short of the par score.
But they didn't let that feeling settle whatsoever in the team. Mpofu and Trego were excellent with the new ball, looking to swing it and getting movement off the pitch as well. Ryder and Tharanga succumbed to just that. Goswami tried to put some pressure back with Munaweera anchoring at the other end but he was caught by surprise by a low-staying ball.
Taylor played a really bad shot while McCarthy got runout soon after. Bisla and Bishnoi put up the strongest batting stand of the match and gave some hope back to the batting side. But Bishnoi was given out wrongly and everyone else after that got starts, took the game close but couldn't capitalise. Raina's bowlers Suyal and Binny changed their pace well in the last couple of overs and kept bowling straight lines which worked like wonders!
19.2 Stuart Binny to Hamid Hassan, WICKET! Urbanrisers Hyderabad win by 13 runs. Slower fuller-length delivery a tad outside off, Hamid Hassan tries to smash this down the ground, was way too early into the shot and the top edge carries all the way to the long-off fielder.
Hamid Hassan c Dwayne Smith b Stuart Binny 0 (1b, 0x4, 0x6)
19.1 Stuart Binny to Suranga Lakmal, that looked absolutely plumb and yet another umpiring howler. On a fuller-length around the middle stump, Lakmal swings across the line, gets beaten and the ball thuds onto the back leg. That looked absolutely dead.
WOW! SUYAL YOU BEAUTY! He changed his pace well throughout the over before just bowling his best ball for the most important one!

18.6 Pawan Suyal to Pawan Negi, WICKET! That could well be the final nail in the coffin. That was a full toss and Suyal says you miss I hit. That was just dipping on that occasion, Negi swings across the line but the ball goes underneath his bat and rattles the middle stump. Pawan Negi b Pawan Suyal 10 (10b, 1x4, 0x6)
18.5 Pawan Suyal to Suranga Lakmal, Lakmal goes down the ground to a fullish-length delivery around middle, inside edged down toward widish long on for a single.
18.4 Pawan Suyal to Suranga Lakmal, off-pace delivery on a good-length, Lakmal makes some space and tries to launch this down the ground, gets beaten.
18.3 Pawan Suyal to Pawan Negi, fuller-length delivery a shade outside off, Negi throws the kitchen sink at that, swings across the line and the inside edge goes away towards the deep fine leg fielder and a single taken.
18.2 Pawan Suyal to Suranga Lakmal, that results in one leg bye. Fuller, pitching just outside leg and Lakmal missing out on the flick.
18.1 Pawan Suyal to Suranga Lakmal, fuller-length delivery a shade outside off, Lakmal swings across the line, gets beaten.
Pawan Suyal [3-0-21-2] comes back into the attack
The happy faces in the Urbanrisers' camp have turned into tense ones. The Superstars are just holding on somehow. What a match we've had so far. Binny was unlucky on the first ball but came back strongly.
