Britannia CC crush USC Magdeburg by 72 runs!

Comprehensive! Absolutely comprehensive stuff from the Britannia CC as they secure a huge win over the USC Magdeburg. After putting up a mammoth 135 runs on the board, they have restricted the USCM batsmen to a paltry score of courtesy some fiery bowling from the likes of Rohit Singh and Waleed Ahmed, which has seen them get over the line comfortably.

USC Magdeburg were never really in the game. They got off to a decent start in the first over, scoring 11 runs off it but it went downhill from there pretty fast. Sahil Sethi was run out for a 6-ball 4 and the hard-hitting Rahul Movva departed for a 12-ball 21. From there, it was a spectacular middle order collapse which saw all the other batters except Girish Tangirala register single-digit scores.

All in all, a brilliant bowling performance from the Britannia CC to follow up what was some outstanding batting in the first. They will once again thank skipper Rohit Singh for his invaluable contributions in both departments. For the USC Magdeburg, they will have to go back to the drawing board and formulate some new strategies as they look to bounce back in their next fixture.
