Commentary

A good win for Bologna in the end then as they successfully defend this total to begin the day with a win. They had enough on the board and despite a promising start from Venezia, they have pulled things back and almost bowled them out as they kept picking wickets at regular intervals to make sure Venezia had no chance to come back into the contest.

Venezia had a promising start but could not build on the same. They failed to keep up with the required rate and lost wickets all the way through which put them on the backfoot. A few poor dismissals and they will have to work on their batting in the games to come. A decent tenth wicket partnership but it was too late by then as they were nowhere in the chase.

Bologna batted well, bowled even better and they deserved this win by all means. Venezia have had a poor start and they will have to regroup going forward. Bologna building momentum with a good bowling effort to restrict the opposition batters and they will look to build on the same.
