Despite Mohammad Amin's valiant efforts to try and chase this total down, the Vienna Danube fell short by some margin towards the end of the game. The bowlers of the Vienna Eagles, led by the likes of Karanbir Singh, Naveed Hussain and Kazim Syed, held their nerve under pressure and made sure that victory was theirs at the end.

This capped off a fantastic all-round performance by Karanbir Singh with the bat, as he also managed to pick up a wicket in the two overs he bowled. The batters of Vienna Danube relied heavily upon the likes of Khyber Malyar and Mohammad Amin, but sadly, the duo failed to take their side home. With 21 runs needed off the last over, the Danube still seemed to be in with a chance thanks to Zaid Miakhel's exploits with the bat.

However, Dawood Surkhi remained calm and made sure that nothing untoward happened. Earlier, a cameo from Abdul Rahman had helped prop the Danube total, but sadly, it was not enough. Despite having been run extremely close, the Vienna Eagles walked away with a well-deserved win at the end of the game!
