It wasn't going to be easy for the Super Kings and it stayed that way with a masterful defense of the runs by Paris Universite Club! Villeneuve did have their moments, but had to get more runs in, especially through the middle overs.

The start too wasn't all that explosive, but the regular fall of wickets did not help their cause. However, Paris Universite Club got the chance to go to a more regular bowler in the final over and maybe even, as a result, to collect all four points. But as it turns out, the Super Kings have managed to clinch that bonus point.
