Tino Best, Player of the Match: I am a competitor. 42 years old, a little tired. My team-mates gave the energy for me to run in. The stare, you try to be aggressive as a bowler. I am just entertaining the crowd and hope that I just give the belief to my team-mates. The camaraderie is brilliant. The tournament is fantastic, the pitches have been brilliant.
Upul Tharanga (Guwahati Avengers captain): The game was going towards both sides. The wicket wasn't easy to bat on. The bowlers came back well to restrict their batters. When the ball gets older, it is not easy to bat against the spinners. Since we were playing the night game, saw that the ball was swinging and Tino did well. Hopefully, we can win the final!
Thisara Perera, Vizag Titans captain: This is the beauty of cricket. I feel we did very well through the series, but if someone makes mistakes, we are bound to fall back. They deserve to win this match for they made lesser mistakes. He's more senior than me. Upul's a very calm guy. We had a bad day, so we'll see what happens next year. It's been an honour to lead this side. As a unit, we did well throughout the series.

Crazy scenes here in Ghaziabad as Anureet Singh and Upul Tharanga held their nerve to take Guwahati Avengers into the final! Chasing 146 for victory, Upul Tharanga got Guwahati off to a good start. However, Stuart Binny bowled superbly to dismiss Vishu Khatri cheaply in the third over. Thereafter, Shafiq Khan joined Tharanga even though the former struggled to get going. Eventually, the 52-run partnership was broken by Bharat Awasthi as he ended Shafiq's struggle in the middle.
Pintu Kumar came in at No.4 and played a couple of lovely shots but Ashish Nuniwal dismissed him in the 15th over. Tharanga also departed in the next over as Guwahati started to struggle. Ahead of the final over, Guwahati required 6 off 6 balls but Thisara Perera bowled a magical final over where he took three wickets and the game got tied at the end of the 20 overs!
Vishu Khatri and Upul Tharanga came out to bat for Guwahati in the super over with Stuart Binny in charge of restricting them. However, Vishu put on a show as he batted all the six balls and scored 16 runs. In reply, Stuart Binny batted superbly and brought the equation down to two runs off one ball. However, Anureet bowled a clever slower delivery as Binny failed to connect. Tharanga was also alert behind the stumps as he ran forward and fired an under-arm throw to find Perera short of the crease

0.6 Anureet Singh to Stuart Binny, OUT!!!! VIZAG TITANS ARE IN THE FINAL!!!!! Anureet Singh kept his nerves and bowled his team to victory! He took the pace off completely and kept it wide of Binny from round the wicket. Binny swung at it with all his might, made no contact, Perera called him through for an improbable bye, Tharanga gathered the ball on the bounce, ran in, under-armed the ball towards the stumps and hit the target! He then ran through towards his bowler in jubilation, and the rest of the team joined in in a flash as Anureet slapped the stumps off at his end and ran off towards the dugout!

Deep in his crease, he squeezed the ball through the gap at backward point and found the ropes! Last ball of the match, and this time, it is the Vizag Titans who need 2 off it!
