Hyderabad FC have been relentless in building attacks. The CFC defense has been on its toes in this entire half. The Nizams though will be disappointed not to open their account so far.
38' Hyderabad FC continue to dominate the show. It's a crossfield pass to find Asish Rai on the right flank. He nudges it to Edu Garcia and runs inside the box to find the return pass. Rai eases it in the path of Nikhil Poojary who turns and takes the shot but it's way over the crossbar.
35' HFC win the ball on the left wing and it's passed on to Bartholomew Ogbeche who just taps it in the patch of Edu Garcia. Edu has no CFC defenders surrounding him, so he decides to pull the trigger from outside the box. His shot though lacks both power and direction.
31' Ogbeche misses again! Two opportunities are wasted by the Nigerian. Edu Garcia shows his class and sends in a perfect ball for Bartholomew Ogbeche inside the box but he fails to get his header right.
28' Bartholomew OGbeche races past the Chennaiyin FC defenders down the right and goes for goal from a tight angle but blasts it over the target. Chennaiyin FC really sloppy at the back and are making unforced errors.
25' Yasir Mohammad tries a short corner from the right side and then he receives the ball back. After that, Yasir serves a cross inside the box but it's overcooked and fails to find Bartholomew Ogbeche.
21' Asish Rai gets hold of the ball in the midfield and swings in a cross inside the box. It's intended for Bartholomew Ogbeche but Vishal Kaith rushes out of his line and tries to punch it out. He though fails to reach it and goes on to make contact with Ogbeche. The HFC striker goes down outside the box and it's a free kick. Edu Garcia takes it and sends in a curler to test the goalkeeper but Vishal Kaith does well to punch it away.
19' A foul is committed near the goal line by Narayan Das on Nikhil Poojary. HFC win a free kick, Yasir Mohammad tries an inswinger but it's defended out neatly.
15' Edu Garcia takes the set-piece from the right and sends it at the far post. Joao Victor is left there unmarked but his first touch lets him down. The CFC defense gets away once more.
13' A long ball is played and it's intended for Bartholomew Ogbeche. The striker rushes forward but is crowded by a couple of defenders. Once again there is some hesitation in the CFC defense as to who will make the clearance but eventually, it's cleared. The ball rolls out of the box, Hitesh Sharma goes for a kick but it's off target.
