The margin was already down to seven points and they could have taken a point away from this fixture but will now go back empty-handed. A comeback was attempted by the Warriors multiple times but Delhi ensured that they kept maintaining and increasing the lead. They put in super tackles and ensured that they did not get all out. A stunning performance from their defense and Naveen Kumar has ensured another win for Delhi!

On the other side, Maninder Singh is tackled again! He is caught blindsided as Vikrant runs around with a dash. The rest of the defense helps send him packing!

The Dabang Delhi KC team have played their hearts out today and right from the get-go they have managed to put the Warriors on the back-foot courtesy of their rock solid defense. They have inflicted two all outs already in the first match itself. Naveen Kumar, despite a strapped hand, is putting in his all and has 8 raid points to his name already. Ashish in the left corner has notched up his High 5 and will be looking to make it big. As for the Warriors, there haven't been any big performances yet and they will need an exceptional second half if they are to make a comeback and win this. Which side will emerge on top? Merry Christmas and a warm welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of the Pro Kabaddi League, 2023. The fortieth match of the tournament will witness the Bengal Warriors and Dabang Delhi KC at the SDAT Indoor Stadium, Chennai. 

The Bengal Warriors have had quite a mixed campaign so far. They have won three matches, lost two and settled for two tied encounters. They are winless in the previous two games and suffered a surprise loss to U Mumba last night. They were well in control of the match in the second half but lost the plot in the dying moments to squander their lead and lose. 

The Warriors still stand fourth in the points table and will be looking to make upward movement soon. Maninder Singh and Nitin Kumar are doing well in raiding while Shrikant Jadhav will need to step up as he does not have the best of performances in the past. The failure of Shrikant is making the raiding quite one dimensional. Harsh Lad, who debuted for them last night, started off with 8 tackle points and will look to keep that momentum going. 

Dabang Delhi KC, on the other hand, aren't having the best of campaigns. They have two wins from the five matches that they have been a part of. They've alternated between wins and losses and if that pattern is to be believed, they should be set for a win today. There have been many problems for them to address and Naveen Kumar missing out the previous game due to a hand injury has not helped matters too. Their young brigade will need to step up and come good if they are to beat a strong Bengal team today.
