Bengal Warriors 37-41 Haryana Steelers

Oh you just cannot write the Steelers off in any game! What a marvellous comeback they have made! After inflicting the all-out on the Warriors early in the second half, the Steelers assumed lead, one which they never squandered over the course of the second half. Despite Maninder Singh and Nabibakhsh's best attempts, the Warriors find themselves on the wrong side of the result.

Yet another Super 10 for Maninder Singh as the ace raider picked up 14 points. Mohammad Nabibakhsh had 9 points to his name, while Sachin Vittala failed to carry on his good form and could not add any points to his tally in the second half. As for the Steelers, Meetu starred with a Super 10 while Vikash Kandola missed out by just a point. The defence has plenty of points between them and have been the primary reason for the Steelers' victory here.

HALF TIME!

Bengal Warriors 18-15 Haryana Steelers

A game dominated by the defence prowess of both sides thus far. The Steelers have 7 tackle points while the Warriors have 8, which is as many as their raid points. A slender lead of 3 points for the Warriors going into the second half and with an all-out on the cards, it is all set to be even-stevens in the first minute of the second half.

In a game where the raiders have not tasted much success, Maninder Singh has garnered 5 raid points. Sachin Vittala has completed his High 5 and the right corner defender has been in formidable form today. As for the Steelers, Jaideep and Surender Nada have, as usual, been the stars in the defence while the right side of the defence will need to step up as they are easy pickings for the Warriors raiders. An interesting second half is on the cards. Who will emerge on top? Stick around to find out!

Right then, this season has not been as good as the previous one for the defending champions Bengal Warriors. They have three losses and an equal number of wins from the six games that they have been a part of. With sixteen points to their name, they are placed sixth on the points table. A win in this contest will help them displace U Mumba and claim the fifth spot.

The Warriors finally broke a three match losing streak with a win against the Pink Panthers. However, it was not smooth sailing for them as Arjun Deshwal kept the Pink Panthers in the game with sixteen points. Nonetheless, courtesy of Maninder Singh and Nabibakhsh's brilliance, the Warriors managed to edge past their opponents, securing a 3-point win. They will look to pick up from where they left off and get another win under their belt.

The Haryana Steelers have had largely a topsy-turvy campaign so far. They have two wins, three losses and a tie under their belt from their six encounters and are placed seventh with fifteen points. A win for them will help them rise above the Warriors and break into the top six. The Steelers played out a tie against U Mumba in their previous encounter and will be looking to getting back to winning ways in this one.
