A stellar performance from both sides and in the end, there is absolutely nothing that separated the two sides. Both gave it their all and battled right up until the very final raid in order to snap up a win. Bengal Warriors tried attempting a comeback multiple times but UP Yoddhas kept them at bay for the majority of the contest. However, some quick points towards the end helped the Warriors level the score. From there on, both sides continued to trade blows and kept it all tied up. A thrilling game of kabaddi comes to an end. Surender Gill starred with 18 points while Vijay Malik's bonus points were invaluable. For the Bengal Warriors, it was quite a team effort as they relied more on the team's performance than individual ones. Both sides will have to settle for a draw and go back with 3 points each from this match.

34' A bonus picked up by Nitin Kumar. On the other side, Aditya Shinde evades Surender Gill's hand touch attempt for a long time but eventually, is tagged.

Ashu is sent back as he attempts a very advance ankle hold on Nitin Kumar, who runs back and saves Warriors from an all out. Picked the bonus there too.

Surender Gill reduces Warriors down to one man again as the right corner's attempted double thigh hold is to no avail.

Vijay Malik comes in for a do-or-die raid and what a tackle by Shubham Shinde. Single-handedly gets a back hold and Vijay had no answers.

SUPER TACKLE!!! Gurdeep with a double thigh hold gets decent support to tackle Mighty Maninder.

Bengal Warriors are trailing by four points at the half time mark as the UP Yoddhas have raced ahead. It has been a very closely-contested match, with both sides trading blows. The lead kept changing hands before the UP Yoddhas, with a last-moment surge, took a four-point lead. It is Surender Gill who is in form along with Vijay Malik today, who has chipped in with multiple bonus points. The defense of the Yoddhas is doing well too. For the Warriors, their defense is working well but committing some silly errors. Their raiding is yet to fire completely. Promises to be an interesting second half! 11' Do-or-die raid for the Yoddhas and Surender Gill is brought down! A diving double ankle hold from the left corner and it is Shubham Shinde who doesn't take long to run around for assistance!

10' Maninder Singh runs straight into Nitesh Kumar's double ankle hold and is brought down as the remaining defenders pile upon him.

Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of the Pro Kabaddi League, 2023. We are in for an absolutely stunning contest today as Mighty Maninder's Bengal Warriors lock horns with Record Breaker Pardeep Narwal's UP Yoddhas at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Pune. 

The Warriors' juggernaut was rolling on, trampling every team that stood in its path. The Warriors, after being the only unbeaten team in the league, went down to the Puneri Paltan. It was a match where Puneri Paltan's aggression far exceeded the Warriors' and forced them onto the back-foot from where they couldn't recover. After that thrashing, they will be hoping to regroup quickly and get back to winning ways. 

They will rely on Maninder and Shrikant Jadhav to do the bulk of the raiding while young sensation Nitin Kumar will be expected to play a big role as well. In the defense, Shubham Shinde holds the key while the others will be hoping to come out all guns blazing. All-in-all, the Warriors have not had too many poor games and will definitely be eyeing five valuable points today. 

UP Yoddhas, on the other hand, have had a topsy-turvy campaign. They lost their first match, won the next two but went on to suffer a loss against the Bengaluru Bulls in a closely contested encounter. Pardeep Narwal and Surender Gill are raiders who will be looking to make an impact whereas their defense will look to play as a coordinated unit.
