A thriller of a contest here at Gachibowli and the Bulls have gotten their second win of the season on the back of their defense tonight! They have tamed the mighty raiding duo of Sachin and Narender and beaten the second-placed Thalaivas. And all of it has come without a certain Pardeep narwal on the mat. Surinder Singh with a High 5, Nitin Rawal with 4 while Saurabh Nandal and Parteek picked up 3 points each. The coach bears a happy smile. The second half started off closely and it was neck-and-neck for a large part of the game before an all out late in the second half let the Bulls take a short lead, a lead which they did not give away. It seemed as if in the last two minutes, they had miscalculated things but Super Sub Akshit saved the day for them with some raid points. A much-needed win for the Bulls as they try to get their campaign back on track while the Thalaivas, although disappointed, can afford this loss and won't affect their overall standings adversely. 

Sachin escapes from Nitin Rawal's ankle hold and returns with a quick raid within seconds. Thalaivas review for the bonus point! There is none there. Just a single point. 

Do-or-die raid for the Bulls and Akshit strikes! Sachin goes for the surprise ankle hold and it is Akshit who escapes and returns. 

Saurabh Nandal with an unnecessary hold on Chandran Ranjit from which the latter escapes and returns. 

Akshit snaps up a bonus point and sacrifices himself in the process as he is tackled! 

WHEW! SURINDER SINGH WITH A MIGHTY DASH! Sachin is dashed off and Surinder is showing all his might! Ajinkya Pawar escapes from Anuj's attempted hold and returns! 

Surinder stands ahead of the pack and pushes back Narender. Ajinkya Pawar runs down the clock and then Bastami goes ahead, congratulates him and pushes him over the mat! The Bulls have sealed victory!

Do-or-die raid for the Bulls and Akshit writhes his foot free from the ankle hold attempt and returns! 

ALL OUT! Bulls inflict the all out at a crucial time! Chandran Ranjit is allowed the bonus point but an ankle hold from Parteek brings him down.

A few tries at a back-kick and that causes Bastami's foot to slide into the lobby while evading. 

Parteek and Surinder Singh from the covers combine to dash out Narender Kandola. 

Nitin Rawal picks up a bonus point in front of the right corner. Ajinkya Pawar with some quick footwork sends back Nitesh from the right corner. Ajinkya Pawar with another point as he sends back Abhishek M from the right corner. 

Do-or-die raid for the Thalaivas and Sachin is tackled! Surinder Singh with a double thigh hold and the rest of the defense pounces on him in a flash! On the other side, Pankaj is tackled. As soon as he tries a scorpion kick, the covers dive at his feet and bring him down. 

Do-or-die raid for the Bulls and Akshit is tackled! A double thigh hold by the left corner and Bastami comes through for support. Oh well, Bastami's head has crashed into Sachin's knee and he has to be stretchered out! Not good signs for the Thalaivas and they have to make a forced substitution. 

Narender picks up the bonus point in front of the right corner. On the other side, Anuj comes in for a dash but the Akshit escapes. Well, the Bulls have reviewed for a bonus! His foot was cutting the line but indeed slid through to cross. But his trailing foot has landed at that time. Review unsuccessful!

Do-or-die raid for the Bulls and Pankaj is tackled! He runs straight into the right corner's block and is dashed out. Do-or-die raid for the Thalaivas and Sachin ventures deep to get a hand touch on Nitin Rawal. Bulls down to one man!

ALL OUT! The raider is allowed the bonus point after which he is tackled as the left side of the defense combine to tackle him! 

SUPER TACKLE! Bulls begin the second half in style! A double ankle hold by Saurabh Nandal and Nitin Rawal is around in a flash to tackle Vishal Chahal. 

A half that has seen plenty of action! The match has been played at a slow pace, with both teams relying on the do-or-die raid largely. The Thalaivas had a slight lead at one point and had the opportunity to inflict the all out but super tackles from the Bulls have ensured that they are still in the contest. Akshit is substituted in and he makes an impact instantly! Extends his hand and gets a touch on the left cover. 

Do-or-die raid for the Thalaivas and Sachin's speed forces the right corner to go past the end-line. Ajinkya Pawar is tackled as Bastami puts in a solid ankle hold and the others pounce on him quickly. 

Vishal Chahal's foot ends up sliding into the lobby as he is raiding. A gift for the Bulls. Do-or-die raid for the Bulls and Pankaj loses balance and goes into the lobby without a touch. Returns the favour from Vishal earlier. 

Do-or-die raid and Vishal Chahal strikes! Surinder with a tackle attempt but Vishal turns and escapes! Do-or-die for the Bulls on the other side and Ajinkya Pawar snaps up a bonus point. He's confident of it and returns with it. 

Do-or-die raid for the Thalaivas and Narender fails to get a point! The left corner chain runs around and traps him. SHEER POWER! Jai Bhagwan is tackled as the right corner runs around and single-handedly turns his direction away from the mid-line with a waist hold. Even Jai is visibly impressed with the tackle. 

SUPER TACKLE! Ajinkya Pawar is tackled! A double ankle hold by Sahil Gulia and Ajinkya fails to leap over it. 

And it's time for M Abishek to pounce as he sends back the Bulls raider with a powerful block. 

An ankle hold attempted on Jai Bhagwan from which he escapes. Also gets a touch on the left cover on his way back!

Ajinkya Pawar picks up pace and gets a touch on the left corner. Narender is tackled as the left cover runs around in a chain and pin him down but not before he has picked up the bonus. 

Vikash Kandola is tackled as he runs straight into the double thigh hold of the right corner!

The Bengaluru Bulls have had a season to forget so far, managing only one win from the six matches they have played so far, with all others resulting in losses. They have tried out a variety of combinations but have just not gotten over the finish line. They find themselves reeling at the bottom of the points table and as the days pass, they find it getting increasingly difficult to get their campaign back on track. 

The Tamil Thalaivas, on the other hand, are having a completely opposite campaign. With Sachin in their ranks, the Thalaivas bear a fresh look and are among the top two in the points table. They have just one loss in five games, with the other results being one tie and three wins. They will look to continue their momentum and get a crucial win against the Bulls here.
